006: The Temptation of the Norians

Now Addonai had three Angels, or Norians, with Him in Valde. Their names were Richt, Link, and Doreth. Richt stood by Addonai's right side, with a sword in his right hand and a staff in his left, for he was the Norian protector of honor. Link stood by Addonai's left side, with a sword in his left hand and a staff in his right, for he was the Norian protector of justice. Doreth lay at his feet, with no weapons, for he was the Norian protector of love.

Mera came into Valde one day and went to Richt, and tried to seduce him, but he would not give in. Then she came to Link and tried to seduce him, but he would not give in. Then she came to Doreth and tried to seduce him, but he would not give in.

After seducing Doreth, she asked why he wasn't given any weapon. "Addonai said I did not need one."

Mera then asked Doreth, "Why doesn't he trust you? He trusts your brothers with one, but to you he gives nothing. He probably doesn't want you to overtake Him. If you had a weapon, you could beat Him, and He doesn't want you to be more powerful than him."

Doreth asked Mera, "How would I get a weapon?"

"Come with me and I'll show you," she said.

Doreth followed Mera to the depths of Verago and showed him Broduil, which would become his sword. She gave it to him and Doreth went back up to Valde.

He met Addonai and raised his sword. "See, now I have a sword as well. I am powerful. More powerful than both my brothers combined and more powerful than you. What do you say now?"

Addonai wept and said, "You're no longer the son I had. Leave me, for the pain is too great."

Richt and Link came to him and threw him from Valde, crying in mourning for the loss of their brother.

Doreth wept at being cast from Valde. Then he was met by Mera. "He threw you out because He knew he would be beaten by you. He's afraid of what you will become. Come with me and we shall make great armies to fight with you against Him and you will defeat Him and the throne of Verago will crush the throne of Valde."

So Doreth became Dochreidthe, and the two laid with each other.
